Product Details

Play / Leisure Sand consists of carefully graded, pale-coloured particles that are gentle to the touch and safe for children. The sand is non-marking and non-staining, ensuring it remains clean and attractive in play environments.

It is non-toxic and conforms to BS EN 1177 and toy safety standard BS EN 71-3, providing peace of mind for parents, schools, and local authorities.

This sand is ideal for use in play pits, sandboxes, and sensory play areas, as well as for leisure and decorative applications where a soft, bright finish is desired. With a typical bulk density of approximately 1.53 tonnes per cubic metre, Play / Leisure Sand offers contractors and playground installers a compliant, reliable, and safe solution for children’s play and recreation spaces.
