Product Details

6F4 Recycled consists of a blend of recycled aggregates, typically graded from 0/ 32mm, with a higher fines content than many other capping materials. This composition allows the aggregate to compact effectively, creating a stable platform for subsequent construction activities. It is commonly used as a capping layer prior to the installation of Type 1 or Type 2 sub-base, and is also suitable for use in piling mats, haul roads, and as a general fill material.

The presence of fines and the use of recycled content make 6F4 Recycled a cost-effective and sustainable option for large-scale groundwork. Produced to SHW Series 600 Class 6F4 / CC 201 and BS EN 13285 standards, this aggregate provides contractors with a compliant and dependable solution for demanding site conditions.
