Product Details

Type 2 Recycled consists of a blend of solids and fines, graded from 0/32mm. Compared to Type 1, it contains a wider range of particle sizes and a higher fine content, resulting in less interlock and reduced load-bearing capability. This makes it particularly suitable for use as a general fill or as a base layer beneath a Type 1 sub-base, rather than as a finished surface.

The aggregate may include small amounts of contaminants within permitted limits to ensure consistent performance. For best results, the material should be conditioned with water during compaction.

Produced to meet SHW 804 / CC 201 and BS EN 13285 standards, Type 2 Recycled provides a reliable and compliant solution for a range of groundwork and fill requirements.
