Product Details

6F5 Primary consists of well-graded, angular particles ranging from 0/80mm, providing a stable and compactable base for demanding construction activities. Its larger top size allows for the inclusion of substantial pieces of quarried rock, ensuring excellent load distribution and resilience under heavy plant and machinery.

This aggregate is commonly specified as a capping layer prior to the installation of Type 1 or Type 2 sub-base, and is also suitable for use in piling mats, haul roads, and as a general fill material where robust support is required.

Unlike recycled alternatives, 6F5 Primary is produced from quarried stone, but is manufactured to the same SHW Series 600 Class 6F5 / CC 201 and BS EN 13285 standards. This aggregate provides you with a compliant, dependable solution for groundwork and temporary works.
